Job DescriptionThis individual will ensure the effective marketing for one of the currently approved indications for Lenvima and lead preparations for the launch of a second indication within the same disease state. This will entail developing marketing strategy and plans to attain therapeutic area sales and profits, development of business plans, brand strategies, and tactical implementation.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Analyze and assimilate extensive market data/intelligence and incorporate findings to develop strategies and tactical plansKeep up to date with all new information/data for the brand and its competitors and utilize the information to provide a competitive advantage for the brandDrive the development and execution of an innovative and successful brand plan; working with internal stakeholders, partner company, external vendors, and leveraging relationships with opinion leaders in the marketDevelop and manage relationships with global colleagues, Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), and key professional and patient advocacy organizationLead the development of marketing materials and ensure timely approval of materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.Lead the CFT (Cross Functional Team) to invite broad input in the development and delivery of promotional, educational, and sales campaign materials plus gain feedback from the field about existing campaignsEnsure effective role out of marketing campaigns to the field team through plan of action meetings (POA)Closely manage marketing budgets to ensure expenditures are aligned with the brand planBrand leadership as Associate Director/Director he/she must be seen as the brand indication advocateDemonstrate belief and passion for the brandConvey ideas and plans clearly to ensure broad understandingGenerate support for ideas and plans through persuasion and consensusWork with all relevant internal stakeholders and external partner to canvass opinion and request input to support brand strategy and directionClear communication to all levels of the organization create clarity for the brand and its positioning in the marketUtilize innovative thinking to overcome barriers and hurdlesLead the delivery of the operational plan and secure support from colleagues to help achieve goalsTrack success and develop rapid corrective activities if neededHe/she should aim to spend enough time in the field in order to achieve a realistic vision of the marketFosters and environment of learning, open communication and teamwork to maintain and expand capabilities. This includes playing a major leadership role in the cross functional strategic planning and brand planning processJob QualificationsBS is required, advanced degree preferredMinimum of 3-5 years of Oncology Marketing experience3+ years Oncology Sales experienceAt least 10 years marketing experience in a healthcare field, launch experience preferredDemonstrated analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively interface with marketing support functions as needed to facilitate staff execution of responsibilities, successful experience working with external partner preferredDeep understanding of renal cancer space, competitive environment and overall oncology business model preferredExperience working in a changing environment, having demonstrated capacity to adapt to these changesKnowledge of marketing mix and aspect to support brand strategy.Experience working with KOLs and other specialistsAbility to take on board new and complex clinical information and adapt it strategy
