Seeking Operations Consultant in Support of the Data Reformatting Team. The Data Reformatting Team is responsible for manipulating data provided to Voya during the plan takeover process into a format that can be utilized by the host systems.
The volume of new business varies and can be extremely high during peak periods so you need to be able to prioritize your work and meet the service requirements for the team.
You must make a commitment to the achievement of department goals, metrics and service level standards. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Manipulate data from a variety of formats into a standard Voya format
Read and understand file layout schemes
Trouble Shoot and analyze files from external vendors and customers
Use your experience and judgment to overcome challenges and deliver quality service to our customers.
Analyze the data for completeness
Merge multiple files
Work with multiple types of files (text, csv, Excel, etc)
Create logic statements to prepare the data in accordance with plan sponsor instructions
Take responsibility & ownership for your role and the customers that you help.
Education & Experience:
College Degree or equivalent experience
5 to 6 years in a customer service environment/financial services business experience desired.
You need to be highly analytic, proficient with Excel, Access or other data management applications
Able to effectively work in multiple applications while still maintaining proficiency in each.
Experience programming in ETL is a major plus but not required.
Working knowledge of the retirement plan industry is preferred
Omni record keeping system is a plus.
